Reuters just reported that Time Warner Inc's AOL acquired buy.at, an online affiliate marketing network, as part of a strategy to bolster its Internet advertising operations.
"AOL did not disclose financial terms. Buy.at is a network in which advertisers pay its member Web publishers only when a visitor to the site takes an action in response to an ad, such as making a purchase."
The user jcoronella on Webmasterwold says "I saw rumors of a 9 figure USD price tag" which would be a reasonable price for buy.at.
